13 Not Out Is Now an Official Registered Charity

We are incredibly proud to share a huge milestone in the journey of 13 Not Out – we have officially been awarded our registered charity number by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

This is more than just a number. It represents credibility, accountability, and the next exciting chapter for our mission to keep girls in Uganda in education through cricket.

Why This Matters

Becoming a registered charity is a significant step for any organisation. It means that:

Our work has been formally recognised as charitable and for the public benefit. We are regulated and accountable, giving donors and supporters confidence in how funds are used. We can apply for more grants and funding opportunities. Supporters can donate knowing we meet strict governance standards.

For 13 Not Out, this strengthens our foundation and ensures we can grow sustainably while staying true to our purpose.

From Idea to Impact

13 Not Out was created from a simple but powerful belief: no girl should miss out on education because of poverty or circumstance. By combining the power of cricket with educational support, we are helping girls in Uganda stay in school, build confidence, and create brighter futures.

What began as a vision has grown thanks to the incredible backing of our community — from cricket clubs and corporate sponsors to individual donors and volunteers. Receiving our charity number is recognition of the work already being done and the impact already being felt.

What Happens Next?

Now that we are officially registered, we can:

– Expand our fundraising activities

– Build stronger partnerships

– Work towards enabling Gift Aid

– Increase transparency through published annual reporting

– Reach more girls with educational and cricketing support

This milestone doesn’t change who we are — but it strengthens what we can achieve.

Thank You

We would not be here without the support of everyone who has believed in 13 Not Out from the very beginning. Every donation, every shared post, every conversation about our mission has helped us reach this point.

Our official charity number marks the start of a new chapter — but our mission remains the same:

Keeping girls in the game. Keeping girls in education.

If you’d like to support us or learn more about our work, we’d love to hear from you. The best is yet to come. 🏏
